Danielle Marshall is the editor director of Lake Union Publishing, part of Amazon Publishing.
After a long stint as a book buyer and publisher promotions manager for Powell’s Books in Portland, Oregon, Danielle made the leap to the publishing side of the book business, first as the marketing director of Atria/Beyond Words, known for their publishing phenomenon, The Secret. After founding and running her own book marketing and PR firm, she joined Amazon Publishing in 2012 where she’s worked on both the marketing and editorial sides of the house. In 2015 Danielle was appointed Editorial Director of Lake Union Publishing, named for the lake near their Seattle offices.
She is seeking: upmarket women’s fiction, historical fiction, and commercial / book club fiction.
